Copy Seating Plans

It’s common for the same group of students to sit more than one exam paper as a group, for instance, GCSE English has 2 papers. Now, you only need to make the seating plan for a group once. If they are in the same room(s), you can copy the seating plan from one event to another.

When you copy the seating plan the following rules apply:

  • Learners will be seated in the same room at the same desk.

  • If a learner has withdrawn since paper 1, their desk will remain empty.

  • Only learners are copied. Assigned staff are not copied.

  • New entries will not be seated, these can be added as normal.

Steps to Copy a Seating Plan

  1. Ensure that all the exams you wish to assign seating for are in the selected range on the exam ribbon.
